Cops still looking for man who shot ex

The manhunt for Lenny Bennett, also know as Andrew Bennett, continues tonight in connection with a shooting that has left his ex-common-law wife with a badly damaged leg. Bennett came out of prison in September of last year after serving a two-year sentence for drug trafficking. Since that time he had reportedly been harassing Christina Zetina to make up with him. After she refused, Bennett allegedly threatened to kill her and on Monday night shot her as she rode her bicycle in Ladyville. When he’s found, Bennett will be charged with Attempted Murder, Aggravated Assault and Dangerous Harm. Bennett stands five feet ten inches tall, weighs about one hundred and thirty pounds and is dark skinned. Anyone who sees him is asked to please call the nearest police station or Crimestoppers.
