Evidence lacking, D.P.P. withdraws attempted murder charge
He was charged with two counts each of Attempted Murder, Dangerous Harm and Use of Deadly Means of Harm in 2007, but today Ashley Zuniga is a free man. Upon instruction from the office of the D.P.P. that there was insufficient evidence to prosecute, this morning Magistrate Dorothy Flowers withdrew the charges against the nineteen year old. Zuniga was arrested after an incident on August twenty-sixth in which Jerry Graham, Jermaine Cattouse and Bernard Bradley were wounded by gunshots as they stood on West Canal Street.
