Student is $90,000 Lotto winner

On December twenty second someone hit all five lucky numbers for the ninety thousand-dollar lotto draw. But several weeks passed and no one came forth to claim the prize. Today, almost a month later, the mystery was solved as a U.B. student from Belize City stepped up to the Lotto office to collect her cheque for ninety thousand dollars.

“I know but I found out on the twenty eighth and I just wanted to wait a while to let it sink in, you know. Didn’t want to make any hasty movements.

“I’m sure you’ve also decided, budgeted very well how you’re gonna spend it. you’ve had all this time.”

“Well actually I haven’t really decided. I know I’m going to go back to school and that’s the main thing.”

“You’re going to study?”

“Social Work.”

“How did you come up with the winning ticket, the numbers?”

Khandice Joseph
“The winning ticket, the numbers are my friends and family members’ birth dates.”

The winning numbers for that draw were: eleven, fifteen, eighteen, twenty-five, and thirty. After taxes Joseph took home seventy six thousand, five hundred dollars.
