Albert Area Rep. says his record will get him re-elected
As political candidates enter the final lap of their campaigning, incumbents are depending on their performance over the last term to help them keep their seats in the House of Representatives. This morning the People’s United Party Candidate in Albert Mark Espat reflected on his political career.
Mark Espat, Area Representative, Albert Division
“In 2003 the people of Albert put me in the House of Representatives to do a job. I have tried to do that job to the best of my ability over the last five years. I will be asking them when I’m nominated next week Monday to consider me once again for the next term of the House of Representatives and I ask that consideration based on our record in Albert and based on the plans that we have. In terms of the relationships, they have never been personal. They have always been about policy and about delivering results for the people of Belize.”
