Chamber celebrates Christmas at Southern Regional
And while we may have received wrong information on one of its patients we can report with confidence that last week the Southern Regional Hospital in Dangriga celebrated the approach of the holidays by erecting a Christmas tree in the lobby. The tree and accompanying festivities came courtesy of the Belize Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Western Union agency. Assisting the Western Union and Hospital staffs were students of Gulisi School who sang Christmas carols and helped with the tree decorating. Like a similar gesture a week earlier at the K.H.M.H., the Southern Regional effort is slated to become an annual event.
