Musician puts religion back in Christmas music

Story PictureFor years many Christians have been lamenting the commercialisation of Christmas as the holidays seem to have become just another reason to shop, eat, and fix up the house. But musician Duane Ysaguirre is hoping that the songs on his newly released CD “Christmas Holy Bible” will inspire Belizeans to return to the reason we celebrate the season in the first place: the birth of Jesus.

Duane Ysaguirre, Musician
“I would like to put across first to Belizeans that it is inspirational. I believe in making music to make people conscious of real life, how to live, especially in the times that we are living in, so it is mainly righteous put across to the glory of Christ the Lord and Saviour, especially thinking about Christmas. I want Belizeans to tune into this music and to be blessed and inspired with positive, righteous put across not just music or entertainment.”

The seven original songs comprising Christmas Holy Bible can be purchased at Record Shack and King’s Music for fifteen dollars.
