Robbery outside of Tourism Village may have been inside job

Today one local business is looking into the possibility of one of its own being involved in a hold-up that relieved the company of thousands of dollars on one of its busiest days. Manager of Advance Advertising Ideas’ branch at the Tourism Village, thirty-three year-old Cennie Muschamp, reported to police that she was robbed of the undisclosed amount of money while leaving work. Muschamp said at around five-forty Thursday evening she was heading to her vehicle parked just up the street when a man with a cap over his face came from behind a parked van and put a gun to her chest, demanded her purse and another bag which contained the company’s daily receipts. The attacker then made his escape by running through the Animal Park. During a visit to the headquarters of Advance Advertising Ideas this afternoon, News Five learned that because the gunman didn’t rob a co-worker who was with Muschamp, the company believes it was a hold-up orchestrated by someone who works for them at the Terminal One Building in the Tourism Village. The company makes frequent deposits using different members of their staff and at different times of the day. This is why they believe the robber was coached on the description of Muschamp, and the time she left work. The company is upgrading all sixteen branches throughout the country with more cameras and security features.
