Two charged with murder of Faron Felix
Twenty-eight year old Jason “Pussycat” Gentle and seventeen year old Norman McKenzie were charged with the murder of sixteen year old Faron Felix when they appeared today in Magistrates’ Court. Chief Magistrate Margaret McKenzie remanded them into custody until December twenty-first. Felix, a resident of Gill Street, was shot and killed on the night of November thirtieth. It appears that his assailant waited in ambush behind a concrete fence at the corner of Central American Boulevard and Faber’s Road. Another man, Cordel Flowers, who accompanied Felix, was shot in his ankle. Last Thursday after Felix’s funeral angry protesters broke down the concrete fence, saying that it provided too convenient a spot for an ambush.
