Parolee heads back to prison after new charges of robbery

Story PictureA Lemonal villager, thirty-three year old Wayne Anthony, is expected to have his parole revoked. That’s because he is accused of robbing city resident, twenty-one year old Lueton Williams, while out on parole. Anthony is being accused of punching Williams in the face and then robbing him of seventy five dollars in cash. Williams told police that at about nine o’clock on September sixth, he was walking on Orange Street when he was approached by Anthony who pushed him and robbed him of his cash. Anthony then ran off into nearby Taylor’s alley but was allegedly caught by police who were in the area. Police, however, found twenty dollars in cash on him. He was subsequently charged with Robbery and Harm of Williams. Anthony, who appeared today before Senior Magistrate Dorothy Flowers, pleaded not guilty to the charges, but was remanded when he could not meet bail. He is to return to court in October. Anthony was released on parole after he served part of a five year sentence for a charge of robbery.
