Social Security unveils new image
To commemorate twenty-six years of service, this morning, the Belize Social Security Board officially unveiled its new logo to the public. According to Chief Executive Officer Dr. Louis Zabaneh, the change is emblematic of an organisational overhaul currently underway.
Dr. Louis Zabaneh, C.E.O., Social Security Board
“First of all we want to ensure that the fund itself remains very sustainable, very healthy. We want to make sure that our customers feel that they are getting quality service from our people. Of course we want our staff to be excited about their work. All of these things combine will hopefully make us one of the leading organisations in Belize and so all of that fits into our vision of the new Social Security.”

“As you mark this anniversary what is the message to the public”?
Dr. Louis Zabaneh
“Well, that we are already transforming. It is a process, it takes some time but our staff is very excited. I am truly honoured to be a part of their team at this time, people who are really willing to make that change so that customers can feel it; that is what’s happening right now.”
In related S.S.B. news, today Zabaneh also informed us that on January ninth, a non-contributory pension scheme for men will be launched in Dangriga.
