Post-mortem exam conducted on murder victim
We reported on Monday night on the senseless homicide of sixteen year old Austin Tillett at Mahogany Heights. Four minors are still being questioned and have not yet been charged. Shortly after midday on Sunday, Tillett’s body was found in bushes near his home with multiple cut wounds to the neck, hands and feet. Tillett was last seen in the company of one of the detainees on their way to a club in the Mahogany Heights community on Saturday night. He had been staying at Tillett’s house at Mahogany Heights for four days prior to the murder. According to the mother, Valerie O’Brien, she had sensed that the house guest was on a mission against her son. The motive form this killing is still uncertain, but a post mortem examination conducted on Tillett’s body this afternoon certified that he died due to multiple stab wounds to the body. Police investigations continue into the senseless murder.
