Ganzie convicted of murdering ex-girlfriend
Louis Gentle, better known as Louie Ganzie, was this evening found guilty of murder. A jury of nine men and three women deliberated for around four hours before delivering their verdict. The thirty year old musician killed his ex-common law wife, twenty-eight year old Takeshia Sutherland, on January third of this year, stabbing her twenty-one times at her house on Racoon Street. Justice Troadio Gonzalez has deferred sentencing until December seventeenth in order to allow time for Gentle’s attorneys, Darrell Bradley and Dickie Bradley, to prepare their plea for avoidance of the death penalty.
