Corpse found in river, cause of death unclear
Although there were no signs of violence on the body of a man from San Jose Succotz, tonight Cayo police are not ruling out that foul play may have been involved in his death. That’s because the post-mortem on the body of thirty-two year old Rudy Alfredo Bautista was inconclusive due to the advanced state of decomposition. Police say they discovered Bautista’s body around seven on Sunday morning floating face down about one hundred and fifty yards away from the Xunantunich ferry. Bautista was reported missing by his mother two days earlier.
