Lionel Wade wading through sentence for Handling Stolen Goods
Twenty-six year old Lionel Wade started serving an eighteen month prison term today after pleading to Handling Stolen Goods. Wade and an unidentified accomplice are accused of robbing Jose Caballeros of his cell phone and bicycle on August third. Police recovered the phone at Wade’s residence on Central American Boulevard on August twenty-fifth, but the bicycle is yet to be found. Wade was additionally charged with Robbery, but that was withdrawn by the prosecution due to a lack of evidence. He also owes the court a fine of one thousand, five hundred dollars for a previous conviction of possession of controlled drugs, and will serve time for that offence concurrently to the sentence handed down today.
