Honduran national dies under suspicious circumstances

Down south, police investigations continue into the mysterious death of fifty-five year old Honduran national, Jose Efrain Alvarado Munguia. On Saturday, Independence police found Munguia lying face down apparently dead. He was fully dressed, but had a machete in his left hand.  Police say that around one that afternoon, Munguia who is a farmer at Farm 1 in Cowpen was seen working by his co-worker Santiago Ortega Mairena. But when Mairena returned at three p.m. he discovered the farm worker dead. There were no external injuries to his body and police await the post mortem results to determine the cause of death.
