Case against Bou-nahra folds when cops get amnesia
The long running Manslaughter case against Ben Bou-nahra ended in shambles today when the four police officers who originally visited the scene said they could not identify the accused. Without that basic evidence the prosecution could not even begin to make its case and an acquittal verdict was directed by Justice Adolph Lucas. The testimony was so obviously false that the judge himself called two of the cops “worthless and wicked.” D.P.P. Lutchman Sooknandan said he is considering the filing of perjury charges against the witnesses.
