17 year old charged with “Horse” Reid murder

While shootings and violence continue in Belize City, the good news is that for the past twelve days there hasn’t been a homicide. In the interim, police detectives say they have been able to make an arrest in connection to the last killing to rock the old capital. This morning, seventeen-year old Aaron Bailey was charged with Murder, Wounding, and Use of Deadly Means of Harm in Belize City’s Family Court. Cops believe Bailey was the lone gunman who approached Eyean “Horse” Reid and Stephen “Cat” Arnold as they sat in a parked car on Dean Street. The single bullet fatally wounded Reid in the neck, while Arnold survived injuries to his abdomen and arm. The case against Bailey has been adjourned until November fifteenth.
