Husband almost kills wife in Orange Walk

A near fatal stabbing incident on Wednesday night in Orange Walk Town has left one woman in serious condition at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.  Shortly before nine o’clock on Wednesday night Felipe Wagner reportedly assaulted his wife Martha Alicia Wagner inside their residence on Rio Hondo Street following a domestic dispute.  Police Press Officer Sgt. Fitzroy Yearwood told News Five that Wagner then proceeded to stab his wife multiple times to the body.

“The information so far is that Felipe Wagner has been detained in connection with the stabbing of his wife. This took place around 8:45 p.m. in Orange Walk Town somewhere around the Louisiana Area. We know that this wife is presently undergoing surgery; she’s in critical condition and police have since detained Felipe in connection with this incident.”

“Lastly, have there been any arrests made into the murder of Larry Johnson which occurred in Ontario last week?”

“Well Isani we haven’t made an official arrest but we have detained several persons for questioning and we intend to detain several more. We’re trying our best to bring closure to the family and we will continue until we make an arrest in these heinous crimes.”

Martha Wagner is undergoing surgery for the injuries sustained in the dispute.
