Thugs rob Shell One Stop Gas Station
Thieves were also busy on the other side of town as they used guns again to get their way at one of the city’s gas stations. The incident occurred late Tuesday night and the robbers got away with a little over five hundred dollars from Shell One Stop at the corner Cemetery Road and Central American Boulevard. Police have no suspects but the cameras installed at the establishment may also prove helpful in narrowing the list of possible suspects.
Meanwhile, police have made some inroads in connection with the Western Union burglary on Saturday night. This Thursday morning forty two year old Basil Willis will face the music in the Magistrate’s Court. If his name sounds familiar, that’s because Willis was charged in 2004 for the murder of sixty-six year old Hilberto Aragon. He was, however, never convicted and last week was released from prison. He will be charged with Aggravated Burglary on Thursday.
