New C.E.O. for Social Security Board appointed
We’ll have more from the House of Representatives later in the newscast but first word out of Belmopan tonight is that the Social Security Board has a new boss. A press release issued by the fund today indicates that Dr. Louis Zabaneh is the new Chief Executive Officer of the S.S.B. with effect from Monday September third. The board also announced that Leo Vasquez is now the head of the Finance Division. The posts were vacated by Rolando Zetina earlier this year after he resigned to pursue a political career as the People’s United Party Standard bearer in Belmopan.
