Another house in City toppled by Dean
It seems that the Belize City house shown on our newscast last night was not the only one in the old capital to fall during Hurricane Dean. Today our cameras were called to St. Jude Street on the Southside where they recorded another collapse. The building fell so neatly that you have to look closely to tell that it once stood ten feet off the ground. The owner was not at home this afternoon but we are told the house belongs to Claudette Coye, a security guard at Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. Fortunately, no one was hurt when the wooden building fell from its posts.
