People’s National Party supports VIP

The Conference was held in conjunction with the People’s National Party. PNP’s Candidate for Toledo East, Wil Maheia made the trip from Toledo to show solidarity with the VIP.

“We’re here in solidarity with the VIP and the other independent candidates. I think it is important that the VIP the P.N.P. and the independent candidates who are running and that I see here today, work together because the war is on. And it is us against them—P.N.P., VIP and the independents against the P.U.D.P. And it is important for us to look at the voter’s registration list and to clean it up. It is important for us to go back to a year before the last general election when they should have called for re-registration and cleaning of the voter’s list. So we are here in solidarity with the VIP and other independent candidates working together to bring down the P.U.D.P. this coming general election—whether it is called March seventh, March eighth or when it si supposed to be called in 2013. But the war is on and we’re ready.”

Both independent parties will be yielding candidates for the upcoming elections.
