All contestants now in place for Ultimate KTV

Thirty-two: that’s the number of contestants finally on board to compete in Channel 5’s Ultimate KTV. Last night the thirteen new participants were chosen from a field of twenty aspirants. They will join nineteen returning champions and finalists from the previous five years of Karaoke Television, all hoping to capture the ten thousand dollar first prize. Here’s how it went as host William Neal announced the judge’s selections.

“The first person moving on is Herbert Wiltshire the Fourth. The next person moving on is Julian Ferguson from Corozal. The next person moving on is Rachel Sedacey from Belize City; from Orange Walk, Dillon Jones; from Belize City Shanelly Sutherland. From the place where there is no sand and no hill, Jazel Pascasio. Beginning next Tuesday night, each week four contestants will compete with one moving on to the semi-finals. Although the three judges will offer their comments, actual selection of the winners will be done through text message voting by viewers.
