Garbutt is new president of Cycling Association
In sporting news the Belize Cycling Association has a new president. In elections held last night Gerald Garbutt defeated incumbent Melvin Torres by a large margin, with a record number of members showing up to vote. Rounding out the executive is Ryan Garbutt as Vice President, John Swift is secretary, and Marco Reyes, treasurer. Committee members are Kevin Hall, Adrian Bernard, Kenrick Halliday and Stanley Lizama. Garbutt had served two previous one year terms as president. Under the new constitution he and the executive will now serve a four year term.
