“Notthing Nice” musical artist releases new CD

He calls himself “Notthing Nice”, but contrary to this, Allen Martinez says he spreads positive messages in his music. The local artist came to News Five studios today to get the word out about his new CD. Martinez says he does dancehall style, but he tries to stay away from the violent content that now dominates the music scene. He told more about the tracks on his new release.

I di look fi keep it conscious, fully conscious and I know dat di Belizean people dehn di wait fi wah time come weh dehn could party and I think dat dah weh I di bring to di table.”

“Well, really and truly I could just she dah Jah inspire me cause from I small I could remember myself di sing tune inna my head and I want know how ih come so easy to me. I must could do my own thing and di try and here it is.”

“Di songs weh I would ah most recommend people fi listen to dah Step Up and God Guide I and I. Dat dah fi di youths dehn inna di streets weh get confused inna dis crime and dis war and dis killing cause I hate the fact personally fi di si my own bredda dehn di dead off like dat everyday somebody dead. I mean, dat noh mek no sense. I come fi tell dehn and put it to dehn through di music.”

Martinez’ CDs are not in stores as yet but he can be found on Albert Street selling them for seven dollars each.
