Chinese Association offers reward to catch killer

And while cops in Camalote are chasing down that lead in the Rivas case, according to San Ignacio police they’ve hit a dead end in the investigation to solve the cold blooded killing of businessman Guo Quiang Su. Six people had been detained by police following the fatal shooting on Wednesday morning, but they were all released after forty-eight hours. Investigators tell News Five they remain hopeful that community assistance will help them break the case, but admit at this time there are no leads. To encourage members of the public to come forward, the Cayo Chinese Association is offering a reward of ten thousand dollars for information leading to the arrest of the shooter. Forty-three year old Guo was shot once in the forehead by a lone gunman while inside his store on George Price Avenue. It is believed that two guns, in addition to cash, were stolen from the shopkeeper.
