Driver charged in Dangriga fatal accident
The driver of a truck involved in a fatal accident in Dangriga has been arrested and charged by police. Thirty-six year old Alex Cordova of San Lazaro Village in the Orange Walk District was driving along Market Square on Wednesday when a bicyclist, forty-seven year old Analee Flores, was caught between Cordova’s truck and a parked vehicle. Flores fell off the bike and hit her head against Cordova’s rear bumper, causing fatal injuries. Cordova has been charged with Manslaughter by Negligence, Causing Death by Careless Conduct, and Driving a Motor Vehicle Without Due Care and Attention.
