Mexican president makes whirlwind state visit
His visit was sandwiched between two summits and the P.U.P. convention, but the brief state visit of Mexican President Felipe Calderon came off as scheduled Saturday in Belmopan. The President paid a courtesy call on the Governor General, met privately with the Prime Minister, was hosted for lunch and conferred with the Order of Belize. All in all, not a bad day’s work.
