Wife fatally stabs husband in Succotz Village

A young wife is under arrest tonight after she stabbed her husband to death. Authorities found the lifeless body of twenty-three year old Cornelio Montero inside the couple’s residence in Succotz Village in the Cayo District.

Police say their investigations revealed that twenty-two year old Glenda Lucrecia Montero and her spouse were having an argument around six this morning when things turned deadly. The wife reportedly picked up a kitchen knife and stabbed Montero in the chest, piercing his heart. Montero was rushed to the San Ignacio Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. This evening police in Benque Viejo charged Glenda Montero with murder.
