Cool crook steals air conditioners

A watchman is in police custody tonight after the building he was hired to guard was burglarised. Sometime between six-fifteen on Monday evening and nine Wednesday night, a thief or thieves broke into Enrique Martinez and Sons Limited at mile two on the Northern Highway and stole more than ten thousand dollars worth of air conditioning units. Proprietor Arturo Martinez has identified the missing equipment as three L.G. brand air conditioners, nine Chigo brand A.C. units, and seven other different models. Subsequent police investigations have revealed that the burglars entered the building through an unlocked shutter that leads to the warehouse.
