Corozal man charged with rape of 16 year old
Following a sixteen year old girl’s report that she was sexually assaulted, Corozal police have arrested the accused rapist. The thirty-one year old suspect cannot be named as he is the young woman’s brother-in-law, but we can tell you that he has been charged with Rape and Aggravated Assault. The victim told police that on Wednesday, after she had finished her housekeeping duties at her brother-in-law’s house, he offered to take her home as usual. But on this trip, the victim says the accused took her to a remote spot on the outskirts of village and raped her.
