Corozal man detained for rape of sixteen yr. old sister-in-law
For the fourth time in less than a week, we have the depressing duty to report the rape of a young woman. The latest assault occurred on Wednesday in the Corozal District. According to the report filed with police, a sixteen year old girl went to work at the house of her thirty-one year old brother-in-law and when she was finished he, as usual, set out to take her home. In this instance, however, her employer carried her to a remote spot on the outskirts of the village and raped her. He has been detained pending charges.
