Marcelino Miranda, Mexican Press Officer
“The Mexican Embassy is hosting two piano concerts this weekend. A Mexican artist is coming from Yucatan. She is going to perform on Saturday, twenty-first April at six p.m. at the Bliss Center and on Sunday, twenty-second April at six p.m. at the George Price Center in Belmopan. She has prepared a very good, interesting program with different international renowned pieces of piano by Mozart. It is going to be an interesting program. The aim of this concert is to promote culture—the cultural exchange between Mexico and Belize. It is part of the program that the Mexican Embassy is conducting every year and we in this case we want to encourage especially the young people to come to this concert, to enjoy this music and also to have this opportunity for a family event. That’s the reason we are inviting all the family to come. It is a great opportunity for parents to bring young people and children to these two concerts.”
The first concert will be held at six p.m., Saturday night at the Bliss Center and the encore performance will be held at six p.m., on Sunday at the George Price Center in Belmopan City.
