Viewers have their opinion registered in online poll
This week’s question was: Should tax payers’ monies be spent to pay the gangs a weekly salary? It appears to have struck a chord among viewers and almost six hundred voted on our e-poll. Ninety-two percent said “no” to paying the gangs, while eight percent said “yes”. The blog section was also loaded with comments that shared the same sentiment. One of them read “There is absolutely no reason for Belizean taxpayers to be responsible for paying gang members a weekly salary. It is nothing more than the country being held hostage and being extorted.”
