Two charged in Belize City rape
A seventeen year old and his eighteen year old brother were today charged with rape and abetment respectively. According to court reports, a sixteen year old girl reported to police that she was walking on Euphrates Avenue on May eighth when she was dragged into an alley and held down by Rojan Staine while Stephen Staine had sex with her against her will. The seventeen year old was charged with rape in Family Court, while his brother faced the abetment charge in Magistrate’s Court. Both defendants made bail of three thousand dollars each and will reappear on July thirtieth.
