Two charged with murder in Meldrick Flowers death
And while O.W. police hunt for a murderer, their counterparts in the old capital made arrests in a shooting which left a teen dead and another in the K.H.M.H. Authorities believe that twenty-year old Rushane Andrewin and twenty-three year old Troy Dawson were the men who opened fire on Meldrick Flowers and Michael Malic on May sixth on Raccoon Street. Flowers succumbed to his injuries, while fifteen year old Malic received several gunshot wounds and remains admitted to the K.H.M.H. in a stable condition. Andrewin and Dawson have both been charged with Murder, Attempted Murder, Dangerous Harm, and Use of Deadly Means of Harm. The men appeared in Magistrates’ Court this morning, but because the crime is an indictable offence, no plea was taken. They were remanded to Hattieville Prison and are scheduled to reappear in court on June fourteenth.
