Cyclist is latest shooting victim
A Belize City man is at home recovering from gunshot wounds tonight following a shooting incident on Thursday. Forty-four year old McKoy Daniels has reported to police that around eight last night he was riding his bicycle on Mahogany Street when another cyclist approached from the opposite direction. According to Daniels, without warning the man pulled out a handgun and fired several shots at him. Daniels was grazed on his collarbone and hand but has since been treated and released from the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. Police have been investigating the case, but admit it has been difficult to solve because Daniels is unable to give a description of his attacker.
