No arrests in city’s latest shooting
A shooting in Belize City over the weekend has left one man hospitalized. Eighteen year old Wayne Matthews of a Faber’s Road Extension address remains at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital tonight, suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck. Police reports are that around one on Saturday morning neighbours in the area of Iguana and Elston Kerr Streets heard a single gunshot. When cops responded to the call, they saw Matthews lying on the ground. Up to news time no arrests had been made but police investigations into the incident continue.
