Another love triangle leads to violence
On Tuesday we reported the outcome of a love triangle gone wrong in the Stann Creek district. Tonight there is news that a similar situation has left a Crooked Tree man hospitalized in serious condition. According to authorities, around eleven-thirty on Monday night, thirty-three year old Charles O’Connors was on Water Lane with a female companion when he got into an argument with the woman’s other lover. The verbal disagreement escalated to violence when O’Connors’ competition pulled out a knife and stabbed the villager in the back of his neck, right upper back, left ear, and the back of the head. The bleeding man was rushed to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he remains tonight in a serious condition. Investigators say O’Connors was been able to identify his attacker but up to news time tonight, the suspect had yet to be arrested.
