Venus Store hit hard by burglars
It’s a popular downtown electronic emporium, but tonight Venus Photo and Records is missing some inventory–over fifty-four thousand dollars worth. According to police reports, the Albert Street store was burgled sometime Tuesday night, with the thieves taking cameras, watches, video game consoles, cell phones, DVD players, and a whole lot more. The hot stuff is probably flooding the streets as I speak and viewers with half a conscience are asked not only to not buy, but to also call police or Crime Stoppers with the identity of the sellers.
