Watina #1 on Amazon World Music top 100 of all time

Andy Palacio’s final album, Watina, has notched higher in its growing list of accolades. Amazon.com has named the compilation number one on its One Hundred Greatest World Music Albums of all time. The World Music chart refers to non-western rhythms, instruments, or melodies. ‘Greatest hits’ albums are not listed in the chart. So while Bob Marley’s Legend did not make it, his Catch a Fire album ranked eleven. The list also includes musical icons such as Black Uhuru, Buena Vista Social Club, Tito Puente and Celia Cruz…Palacio died last year and is considered one of our greatest musical legends.
