Steven Lambey escapes 7 bullets
Shortly before that incident there was another shooting across town. At nine-twenty p.m. Steven Lambey, a security guard of Reggae Street, was riding his bicycle along Gill Street when he was accosted by two men when he reached the intersection with Ross Penn Road. Upon closing in on him the gunmen fired a total of seven shots. Lambey narrowly escaped with his life but refused to make an official report to police. Scenes of Crime personnel later recovered seven expended shells from the area.
