Money for sex report leads to arrest of two men
Two men have been arrested and charged following a report from a teenager that the duo gave her money for sex. According to court reports, on Thursday sixty-four year old Rupert Flowers and thirty-nine year old Leroy Stephen, both residents of Hattieville, were arraigned for the offences of unlawful carnal knowledge and aggravated assault. Flowers and Stephen were offered, but were unable to meet bail of five thousand dollars each. Both have been remanded to Hattieville Prison. According to the fifteen year old victim, in September 2006 she visited Flowers’ home where he had sex with her in exchange for two dollars. In December, she says she went to the same house where she met Stephen who also asked for intercourse. The girl says he later paid her one dollar and fifty cents. The accused are to reappear in Magistrate’s Court on April tenth.
