Show off move results in Dangriga arrest
A Dangriga man has been arrested and charged after he shot a teenaged girl in the foot. According to police, around noon on Tuesday, fourteen year old Elvie Taylor and another girl were on Commerce Street with thirty-six year old James Bennett when he produced a firearm. Apparently Bennett was being teased that the gun wasn’t real, so to prove its authenticity he cranked the weapon. In doing so, the gun went off and sent a bullet into Taylor’s ankle. Following their investigations, police have since charged Bennett with grievous harm and discharging a firearm in public.
