Story PictureTonight police need your help in providing the identity of this man who was found dead around six thirty this morning in Ladyville. Authorities were called out to an area between miles eleven and twelve off the Northern Highway. The body was found lying in a yard with what appeared to be a gunshot to the lower left back. It is believed after getting shot, the man may have stumbled onto the property to seek help. Neighbours have told police that they heard a single gunshot sometime before midnight on Wednesday night. The body was found clad in black jeans and a short sleeve light coloured shirt and wearing red and white tennis shoes. It has been transported to the morgue at the K.H.M.H. Anyone with information that can help police is asked to call the nearest police station or the crime stoppers hotline at 0-800-922-8477.
