Police Yabra initiative assisted by Y.F.F.

It’s a pet project of the Police Department in an area more often associated with despair than upliftment. Today that effort received a financial boost from a familiar source.

One year after the Yabra Community Policing Centre opened its doors to the public, the facility has been providing a number of services, particularly to youths from the area. Assistant Commissioner of police and the officer in charge of Eastern Division, Crispin Jeffries, says the idea is to create a better environment in what has traditionally been known as a rough part of town.
