Another flasher gets jail time

And speaking of strange offences, for the second time in two months, a Belize City man has been found guilty of Exposing his Person in Public. This morning Magistrate Roberto Ordonez sentenced Tibruce Street resident fifty-eight year old Robert Howard to three months in jail for the uncalled for act. According to court reports, on December fifth an eleven year old girl was hanging out clothes at her home in Lake I when she heard a noise. The girl says that when she looked up, Howard took out his penis and showed it to her. The minor immediately told her mother, who reported the incident to police. In his defence, Howard told the court that he has kidney problems and sometimes has to urinate at very short notice. Howard however, did not provide any medical evidence to back his claim. Last month another defendant received six months behind bars for a similar offence on Regent Street West.
