Senate confirms D.P.P. appointment, but still no contract
During a special sitting of the Senate on Monday at the National Assembly in Belmopan, veteran attorney Lutchman Sooknandan was approved as Belize’s new Director of Public Prosecutions. Sooknandan’s appointment is effective today, January ninth and according to Senator Esther Ayuso, was finally done according to proper procedure.
