Clarification to statement made on the Dickie Bradley Special
For the record and as a matter of clarification, our phones have been ringing off the hook from persons who tuned in to the Dickie Bradley Show on Monday night. The callers are pointing out that contrary to what was said on the show, the U.D.P. was not in office when the Maritime Areas Act was passed in January1992 and Attorney Hubert Elrington was not a minister of government at the time. He was therefore expelled much later when the U.D.P. was still in opposition. We can’t resist to point out that two of the callers insisted that despite their lack of formal education, their memory serves them right on that historic event.
