Suspect charged in drive-by shootings
While brothers Gerald and Troy Tillett are still recovering at the K.H.M.H. after being shot in a drive-by last week in Belize City, today police have charged one man in connection with the attack. Twenty-two year old Errol Haynes has been charged with Attempted Murder, Use of Deadly Means of Harm and Dangerous Harm. Those charges, however, relate to the wounding of innocent bystander Carlos Barrera, who was selling fruits to the Tilletts at the time. Haynes was reportedly inside the vehicle that fired the shots at the three men. It is believed that Haynes was charged only with the Barrera shooting because the Tilletts have refused to cooperate with authorities.
